The Capitoline Museums are a group of art museums located in Piazza del Campidoglio. They are one of the most popular attractions in Rome for visitors. It is a project that took over 400 years to complete. Over the centuries, the collection inside these museums has grown to house ancient Roman statues, Renaissance art, medieval artifacts, and jewels.
